Pilates, originally called Contrology by its inventor Joseph Pilates, is a system of controlled exercises designed to enhance strength, mobility, and body awareness while prioritizing efficiency over exhaustion. Outside of mat work, it uses an array of spring-based apparatus—machines that support, challenge, and organize your body while your brain does just as much work. Knee injuries led me here. It is not easy, but I make it fun :]

I am comprehensively certified in Pilates through the Ellie Herman Method, with a special interest in Classical Pilates exercises and lineage.
